What information we collect

Contact details: name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address.

Booking information: pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, number of passengers, luggage, vehicle type, flight number and any special requests you add.

Driver applications: if you apply to become a driver, the driving licence, vehicle and insurance details you send us.

Website usage data: when you use a form, hCaptcha processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information to check that you are not a bot. Our server also keeps your IP address for 10 minutes to limit repeated submissions.

This website does not ask for or store payment details.

How we use your information

To process and manage your booking.

To communicate with you about your ride.

To improve our website and services.

To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including accounting and tax records.

To review and respond to driver applications.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share it with the driver assigned to your booking, with our email and website hosting providers, and with hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.), which runs the anti-spam check on our forms.

We may also disclose it to legal authorities where required by law.

How we protect your data

We take data protection seriously and use industry-standard measures to keep your information safe, including SSL encryption on our website, secure servers and firewalls, and restricted access to personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@lisbonairporttaxis.com. We reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as necessary: for customers, typically up to 12 months after your last booking, or for as long as Portuguese accounting and tax law requires once a trip is booked (currently up to 10 years); for driver applicants, in line with legal and regulatory requirements. IP addresses used to limit form submissions are cleared after 10 minutes.
